blank laptop screen in 275.09
 

No laptop display under 275.09 in Ubuntu 11.04. Display worked OK with nouveau driver before I blacklisted it and installed NVidia driver.

HDMI works for external monitor (HDTV at 1920x1080, or DELL3007WFPHC but only at 1280x800)

No video over mini-DP.

Same problems existed with 270.41.06 (I posted in early May but got no suggestions from this forum).

Laptop (Dell XPS 17 i7-2630QM GT555M) works correctly in Windows7 with 270.41.06 for all relevant combinations (including mini-DP to DELL3007WFPHC at 2560x1600).

Please help! I have a great laptop that I can only use in Windows7, or via remote login in Linux....
