Quadro NVS 140M (Thinkpad T61) 30 second delay on resume

exactly describes a problem I'm having - Two 30 second delays when resuming from hibernate with a beep in between. (It seems to be a common problem).

I've tried driver versions 195.36.24, 173.xx.xx (sorry don't recall) as well as the newer 270.41.19.

According to the above thread, the problem was resolved in the 180 series drivers but recurred in 185. I haven't been able to test this as I can't install the 180 drivers due to a compile error (I'm running Ubuntu 10.04/Lucid, kernel 2.6.32-31).


Does anyone out there still running an NVS 140M have any further info on this? Was there ever a resolution?
