I use flac frontend for the flac exe.

Flac is saying can't covert .wave. I have Lame and this. Front end just errors and quits.

Edit nvm I see you are trying to do .mp3 Did you install the flac exe as well as the frontend?

Suppose you could use this once you have converted flac to wav.

There are quite a few, for my audio conversion needs I just use my player aimp http://www.aimp.ru/index.php

For a kind of stand alone there is format factory. It does audio and video conversion http://www.pcfreetime.com/

I usually go FLAC to wav, then wav to mp3. It's two steps, but easily done with many programs out there. Use FLAC Frontend to convert to wav files.

I have been quite satisfied with foobar's performance in this regard. Highly configurable and free.
