Download the driver at http://www.nvidia.com
The last one is 4496
Read the documentation to know how to do it properly.
Run the installer.

i have installed the linux graphic driver version 1.0-4496 for my riva tnt2 pro card.
after installing en getting the settings in XF86config made i am receiving this on the screen:

there may a ulimit restricting the amount of virtual memory available to XFree86. It may be a good idea to check your startup scripts for something like "ulimit -v" and either boost this value or remove the line.

when i am using 'ulimit -v' i receive the answer 'unlimited'. however the program will not start with these drivers. do you know perhaps what is going wrong?

kind greetings,
