Way to reward your best customers AMD- rigs that don't work in four of the hottest games of the holiday season. :(

NOTE: It appears the CF scaling issues may be limited to 16:10 aspect ratios (e.g. 25X16) and isolated games (e.g. Skyrim).

NOTE 2: Timing and driver revision is always a factor in cases like this, Guru3d got some nice scaling in several games in their 7970 CF review. I wouldn't say 7970 CF (or CF in general) is at the level of SLi, but Guru3ds results are promising. :)

Deus Ex really needs crossfire scaling @ 2560x1600 where the minimum is 55fps

I also love how you left out that in Skyrim a single 7970 is faster than a GTX 590 at both 1920x1080 and 5760x1080. Acutally the 580 is faster than the 590 in skyrim too, I bet all those 590 owners are really disappointed nVidia hasn't fixed the scaling in skryim since they've had since 11.11.11 to do it.

It is worth pointing out that TPU did have some of the same scaling issues at 2560x1600 resolution only...whereas G3D did not have the issue.

Spin rollo spin! Maybe if you can survive 6 months or so of AMD being on top, then you can feel good about yourself again, because the company you sold yourself to will be on top. :(

That's interesting.

Two major review sites report major CF issues with several games that are currently VERY popular.

I dispassionately report it in an effort to assist the gaming community, and your going to try and sweep the issue under the rug by closing the thread or deleting it? What if it's resolved, where will we post?

AMD themselves admitted the problem to PC Perspective.

Mike Chambers has always seemed like a "good guy" when I've spoken with him, I can hardly believe his site would try to keep information from it's members. :confused:

Yep, my guess is Mike would have reported this himself had he seen it first. He wants to help his members.

What's your reasoning the information should be hidden?

I don't have an issue with the information. The issue is that I am often cleaning up your threads/posts in this subforum.

I wonder why he never made a thread about the BF3 issue. Straight unplayable seems like a much larger issue than no crossfire scaling but still playable to me.

Obvious trollo is obvious.

Actually I forwarded it to Nvidia because you made me aware of it. (before you posted this) If they have a fix, I'llpost it. Do not have the game to test.
