rFactor - Getting started help :(
Hi All.
I finaly got my Logitech G27 yesterday. I have been playing alot of Live for speed over the years but i want to have something a little better now :) So i had a look at rFactor and i seems nice. A bit of the same as LFS (Great online racing) but with better gfx. But i cant seem to get a grip of what i need to race in rFactor - What do i need to download? It seems there are tons of downloads. Any help would be nice :) |
Re: rFactor - Getting started help :(
What do you prefer? Open wheel? NASCAR (tip tops?), touring cars? Rally?
You can start at rfactorcentral.com. They have a "Hall of Fame" I prefer open wheel myself. I have CTDP's F1 2005, CartFactor 1998, Champcar 2006 and Champcar 2007-2008, and Indycar 1994-95. Oh, and download tracks. |

This isn't like iRacing, you just buy the game ALL mods are free

Re: rFactor - Getting started help :(
Not everyone is willing to pay $400 a year for something they will use twice a week.

Re: rFactor - Getting started help :(
Peter, did you get the original rfactor? or download the beta of rfactor2? rfactor one has many great mods. if you like open wheelers, as in F1, I like the F1 RFT 2010 mod, our league used it this year. They also have their own trackpack for it with all of the tracks. I would also highly recommend Enduracers Endurance series mod, it is fantastic. it has prototypes, GT1 and GT2 cars.
