Re: Grrrr another crashed computer

I suggest you to download Windows memory dump tools to find out what caused your PC to crashed. BlueScreenView is only capable to read details on mini memory dump but it cant read full memory dump, Who Crashed can read either mini and full memory dumps.

Last year my PC crashed once, I configured it to performed both mini and full memory dump. Mini dump showed it was likely caused by kernal module ntoskrnl.exe but the full memory dump gave the full picture showed it was likely caused by Sony Ericsson driver seehcri.sys then I uninstalled the Sony driver and PC stopped crashed again.

Also, if you are having regular hardware problems, with fried MB, memory or other component, I would suggest you invest in a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) for your computer. It is quite possible that your electric circuit sends some bad quality power, which stresses the rest of your system.

Hmm, that's a very interesting idea, will look into that frenchy... and thanks for the program suggestion Athlon...

I found the problem it's my OCZ Vertex SSD... again...

I've had my PCs behind UPSes since I lived accross from a light post that would cause flickering every night when it turned on. Even though I don't have that anymore, my UPSes still beep once in a while, showing that my power micro cuts sometimes.

Otherwise, OCZ SSD have a split reputation: fastest you can get, but also problem with reliability.
