Stereo with 4600Ti (Asus V8460)
Several months ago I bought a pair of Ti4600 froms Asus (the ones with the 3D googles) in order to do a visualization project that in the future would have stereo vision.
Now the 'future' has arrived and it seems that these cards doesn't support active stereo in Linux (I didn't known before). But in Windows one can run the demos and see them running in stereo (or 'something' very similar)
Is there a way of doing some sort of stereo with these cards under linux? I wal told that it can be achieved with a software called 'softgenlock' and a RT linux kernet playing with virtual desktops, but it seems a bit tricky to me. Any succesful approach?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
There's stereo support in the current linux drivers but it is only for use on Quadro cards. :(
Somehow it should be possible to patch the drivers to get it working but nobody has done that yet ...
Well, if Ti4600 won't do the work, any specific Quadro card model recomended? Could I use the 3D goggles of the Asus Ti4600?
