Linux newbie with NVIDIA MX440
I have just started using Red Hat 9.0, during the install I selected the generic NVIDIA GeForce4 driver. I would like to install the newest NVIDIA driver, but when I try to I will get the error message that there is no precompiled driver for my kernel, then it searches for my kernel-header files but cannot find them. My relevant specs are:

OS: Red Hat 9.0
Kernel: 2.4.20-20.9
Graphics card: BFG Asylum
GPU: GeForce4 MX440 64 DDR

 !!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, you need kernel header files to compile a lot of things, and certainly anything like drivers. They will likley be in one of the RPM files on your RedHat CD. Install that. You should end up with a bunch of stuff in /usr/src/linux/include (that's the standard place anyway).

After that, it should be able to compile the module, although I find it a bit wierd that nVidia don't supply a binary for RedHat!
