Poll: does PCI-E ASPM work for you?

It's interesting to know which NVIDIA GPUs support ASPM and when it really works (buggy BIOSes disable it).

In order to collect these statistics please post the following information (enclosed in [ code] [ /code] tags):

1. uname -a
2. Motherboard's model and BIOS version
3. This command output:

Code:

for i in `lspci | egrep -i "VGA.*NVIDIA" | awk '{print $1}'`; do sudo lspci -s $i -vvv; done
Thank you.

I'd like to point out that before you run the test you should check the system-wide ASPM status.
Code:

cat /sys/module/pcie_aspm/parameters/policy

When I switch ASPM to "performance", it's reported as disabled by lspci.

I always have ASPM disabled regardless ASPM policy which is now:
Code:

cat /sys/module/pcie_aspm/parameters/policy
default performance [powersave]

That's really strange as I have quite a modern GPU (it supports PCI-E v2) and my motherboard is also brand new. In this topic there are people with older GPUs and ASPM works for them ... I have no idea who to kick for this problem and how to solve it - I guess ASPM should work for me.

Aaron, zander, danix, Plagman, and other NVIDIA guys

Who is to be blamed for non-working ASPM? My GPU vendor? My motherboard vendor?
