What's special about the Development Drivers?

Hi,

I have been playing around with OpenCL for a while now. The regular drivers from [1] work for me. They are also newer (295.49 vs. 295.41) than the development drivers [2].

I wonder though what the difference between the regular and the development driver is? Are there any advantages/disadvantages?

Regards

Development drivers don't guarantee that all advertised features work and they may or may not be stable.

I'm not talking about the beta drivers but the development drivers from the cuda download page.
