RegistryDword missing from 302.07?

I've been testing the newest beta release and it seems that I can't set the powermizer feature in xorg.conf anymore. Before I used to have this fairly common line:

Code:

Option "RegistryDwords" "PowerMizerEnable=0x1; PerfLevelSrc=0x3322; PowerMizerDefaultAC=0x1"
And lock the maximum frequency on the GPU, but that does not give me any effect anymore.

Since you could never save this with nvidia-settings, I now have to manually change this setting every time X loads. I also can't find any reference in the documentation about registrydword and barely any about powermizer!

X.org logs don't show any sign of it being ignored or accepted, and I can't find much information about it.

Re: RegistryDword missing from 302.07?

It works here on an old Geforce Go 6600, but the other way, locking the card into it's lowest performance level. Which is very, very good for me, this card won't work otherwise :)
Code:

  Option  "RegistryDwords"  "PerfLevelSrc=0x2222; PowerMizerLevelAC=0x3; PowerMizerLevel=0x3"

I ended up settling with this:

Code:

Option      "RegistryDwords" "PowerMizerEnable=0x0;"
Seems to work reliably now!

EDIT: Not reliable, but I found something better...

Make this file: /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/20-nvidia

Write this:
Code:

#!/bin/bash
nvidia-settings -a '[gpu:0]/GPUPowerMizerMode=1'

Make it executable (chmod +x) and you should be good!
