Any body use one of these?, Well I ordered one, never have used a calibrator on a lcd or monitor.:) I'll be using it on my dell U3011, and my Acer HN274Hbmiiid Black 27 3D vision ready Lcd., hope it makes a difference, as I don't know crap on adjusting monitors very good.

Very nice. The software should walk you through the process easy enough but let us know if you found it worth the price as it is a little expensive. Factory calibration on the 3011 is decent. Wish you lived nearby so I could steal it for a few:D

I used an older version of the spyder that my friend had on my monitor. For whatever reason I just didn't like the results it gave and ended up turning off the profile. I wouldn't mind giving it another go and seeing if there was a way to tweak it a bit.

The spyder is definitely a simple device to use, just let it sit in front of the screen and the software will run it's tests and adjust accordingly. There might be a more interactive mode which helps you adjust the color settings on the monitor before you fine tune it.

Yeah this works slick both my monitors look better now colors are just better and detail in games light etc. are better. You can really see the difference that it is better.:)

The golden question. Especially interested if you found it worth it on your dell. $170 is a nice chunk of $$

Yeah for me because I can always recalibrite over and over and my brothers computers etc.:It also checks your environment lighting first and then recomends the settings which I like also, maybe I'll change locations or something and have different lighting, this will help me alot.:)

So you found the improvement on your dell worth the price of the spyder? I will have to keep an eye out for a good sale on these; I just hope I don't regret it. Thanks for the feedback
