Same here.

It's going to be an amazing WWDC, especially with all those Mac refreshes :D
And it's also going to be very, very though not to order a new laptop if they'll indeed feature Retina screens!

I'm still rocking out my 2010 Macbook Pro, so I got a while before I upgrade. Hope to upgrade when SSD is a freakin standard.

I'm in the same boat. I barely use my MacBook Pro so getting a new one is kinda pointless.
But if they're bringing Retina Screens, it's going to though not to order one just to try it.

However, a 15" Air-like MacBook with Retina would be even nicer. According to rumors, they won't be releasing such a product just yet. But something like that will be my next mobile Mac, as long as they at least offer a SSD in the 480-512GB range (since OptiBays are not an option anymore).

Yes, a 15" MacBook Air with a decent GFX chip, Retina screen and 256GB+ of SSD would be AMAZING. That would make it hard for me not to sell my current machine and get one of those!

I'm looking forward to Mountain Lion as well. Even though they are small improvements, I really want to start using them, especially Mac to ATV Mirroring. :drooling:

Will they ever have an OS named after an OStrich?

I think it will be fairly uninspiring. Hoping for Siri on my iPad3. Excited to send some bad speech to text messages to friends and family.

High DPI displays works on mobile platforms because they were designed from the ground up with fixed scaling in mind. However desktop applications were not, and you often run into problems.

Maybe you guys will finally get widgets. They're pretty fun.

I could care less for widgets, I would never use them.

I used a weather widget on the Android phone I had. The iphone has weather in the drop down status bar.
I also had a widget on the Android phone to tell me the status of the battery right on the home screen. The iphone has it in the status bar.

I probably wouldn't care about widgets on the iphone.

I'd like to see them update the os substantially. Starting to feel old and outdated. Still the smoothest, but that's eroding by the minute.

Visually, I agree. They need an OS visual overhaul but I'm not sick of what I look at day in and day out either.

I've been reading that iOS6 will NOT be supported on iPad 1. Bummer . . . Oh well, I don't use mine anymore so who cares lol.
