/dev/nvidia{0,ctl} should be unregistered when the nvidia module is unloaded

Hi,
may I refer you to this thread in the bug tracker of the bumblebee project for background: https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project...bee/issues/144

In short, powersaving on Linux using bumblebee does not seem to work because /dev/nvidia{0,ctl} exist even when the nvidia driver is unloaded. This results in vdpau sometimes activating the nvidia driver -- resulting in higher power consumption -- even though the driver was unloaded by bumblebee. A patch to bumblebee removing the control files whenever the driver is unloaded seems to fix this issue. But the maintainer of the bumblebee project is of the opinion that this functionality should be part of the nvidia driver, not bumblebee.

Is this the right place to post bugs regarding NVIDIA linux drivers or is there a better way? Not wanting to appear impatient, just to make sure this post will be read by the right people at some point.

Cheers,
Arian
