Will The Arab Spring be Remembered for Failed States?
With Egypt having become effectively a slightly more dangerous version of its former self, Tunisia in turmoil and no bright sparks on the horizon for Libya and Syria what are we to take from popular uprisings in the middle east?
It looks like the moderates and the poor over throw a regime only to have an equally poor, ill equipped or in Egypt's case, even worse regime take its place. There is clearly a desire for democracy in some of these states but so many more seeing an opportunity to fill a power vacuum.
Is there anything we can learn from the Iraq nation building?
Will the result of the Arab Spring be a less stable world?
