amd chipset drivers-where to find now

If you are looking for AMD chipset drivers for your motherboard, the main AMD site no longer has links to chipset drivers or a drop down driver selection menu on the main to any driver downloads. You have to go to the game.amd.com downloads sections for now for your chipset drivers. You can still get graphic drivers from the main amd site though.

Goto your motherboard's website. Don't rely on the chipset maker. They are generic drivers. The mobo manufacturer has optimized drivers for your mobo.

are you smoking something? Mobo makers don't optimize chipset drivers anymore. They just post what they have. Asus for instance, just posts old drivers. The only way to get optimized drivers are getting community modded drivers.

Heh. I should ask you if YOU are smoking something (and no, I CAN'T smoke). It's a well known FACT Asus has some of THE worst tech support, bar none.

Next time don't choose Asus. ;)
