MSI Geforce TI4400 price and comparison?

Ok I'm totally confused there. I saw an MSI GEFORCE4 ti4400 Champion Edition (MSI GeForce4 Ti4400 G4Ti 4400-TD Champion Edition 128MB DDR TV & DVI Out) for $199 at one of the online stores. Then I saw another MSI GEFORCE4 TI4400 at another online store for $196 (MSI GEFORCE4 TITANIUM G4TI4400-VTD 8871-020 GEFORCE 4 Ti4400 128MB DDR 4X AGP W/ TV-OUT, VIVO VGA, RETAIL)

What is the difference between the two?

I don't want to rely on pictures but one is green and the other is purple but still other than color?

The second card has VIVO (video in video out) and is cheaper. There is no difference between the cards apart from the cheaper one has more features. Maybe the champion edition comes with a big software bundle?

get the VIVO card, it's very simplistic video capture but it's fun to play with just the same :)

So the cheaper one has more features...want to know something odd.

The first video card, although it's 199, it has free shipping.

The second card, with next day air, it will come up to 226 something dollars.

Now at the same site as the second one, they have the MSI 4600 for 228 something dollars..of course if I want it next day air it'll probably be 240 something dollars.

Should I just throw in the extra 20 bucks or so to get the 4600?

ok, now u got me curious. Which site did you wanna buy from and I'll help pick out the perfect card for you, features vs price

Gator 09-26-02 08:17 AM

alright, from http://www.newegg.com I found the best deals for you:

GF4 TI4600 VIVO for $228us

GF4 TI4400 for $190us

both have free shipping. And basically it's a matter of do you want to pay an extra 38 bucks for 25mhz more on the core and memory by default, and for VIVO. Now I should tell you, the TI4400 can easily overclock to TI4600 speeds. But for 38 bucks more, ya I'd get the TI4600. And it overclocks even higher than TI4400 can.

So in conclusion, it's a matter of how you wanna spend your money. But I will say that $228 is a VERY good price for a TI4600 with VIVO. I paid $248 for my TI4400 VIVO only a couple months ago.

ACK! Don't buy from ocsystems they have terrible sales reviews. Good products, but bad service. Check this out: http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2227.html

yes, VGA LEADTEK Geforce4 TI4400 128M TV/DVI RETAIL for $190 is in stock

yes, VGA EVGA|GF4 TI4600 128M TV/VIVO RETAIL BOX. for $228 is in stock

i know you said you wanted MSI, but I havent heard anything bad about EVGA and those prices are excellent. Leadtek is good.

newegg has several other choices too, use "Search VGA by Chipset" http://www.newegg.com/app/manufactor...alog=48&DEPA=1

eVGA has a good product as long as the card you're buying has the reference cooling system and not their vaunted ACS2. I had an eVGA card with ACS2 and it wasn't good.

wow...good think you let me know about ocsystems.com

Let me try going for the other site then. I prefer MSI and I'm willing to go for the other if possible.
