GeForce2 MX/MX 400 never worked

My GeForce 2Mx drivers under linux never worked :(
I tried under SuSE (7.0 8.0 9.0), RedHat(8.0 9.0) and Mandrake(9.0)
Always the same error:

black screen, a lot of random white pixels just in the upper 1/3 of the screen and all the system is freezing and I must reboot manualy.. :(

Can somebody help me?

which driver versions have you tried?

and does the nv driver work?

I tried with a lot of drivers (today I tried with the latest:

Version: 1.0-5328
Operating System: Linux IA32
Release Date: December 22, 2003

but no one works, the same random white pixels on the first third of the screen.

I run the setup and after that enable it using sax2 (I'm using SuSE 9.0), but when I enable it, random pixels and blocked system. :(

I think the drivers module was loaded.

Try with version 2314. It was the last driver that worked fine with a geforce2.

See you,

thanks for answers, but no working... The same results, but in the case of the old driver just 1 pixel in the upper left corner.

The problem is when I'm activating the drivers with sax2...
This pixels sugests me that maybe it's a wrong video memory address, or another stuff related to video addressing.
So, I think the drivers functioning but not with correct parameters :(

Do you know if nvidia linux drivers require some disable/enable parameters in the BIOS?

Thanks in advance.

PS: I forget to mention before: with the nv drivers every it's correct.
