NVIDIA Ti4200, SUSE LINUX 9.0, AMD, KT600

I have the following configuration :

AMD 1800XP (Model 6 "Palomino")
VIA KT600 (MSI K6-Delta series)
512MB
NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti4200 128MB 8X
SONY Multiscan 110ES (15" 1280x1024x60 max,
best 800x600x120, 1024x768x85)
SUSE LINUX 9.0 (updated kernel 2.4.21-166-athlon)
and ALL the latest patches from SUSE.

I downloaded and installed NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5328-pkg1.run (IA32)
but when i tried the "sax2 -m 0=nvidia" the sax2 desktop appeared with the following error :

(WW) NVIDIA (0) : Not using mode '576x384'
(WW) NVIDIA (0) : Horizontal Sync Start (589) not a multiple of 8

and crashed ! (a nice failsafe session followed to set the "nv" driver)

I need HELP getting the "nvidia" driver to work !!

Just run sax2 instead of that command because it enables the nvidia driver straight away, setup the resolutions, then get the driver to say "nvidia" instead of nv.

Test the configuration in the resolutions you use, if thats ok you should be fine.
