Fedora + VANTA = Slow?
 
Howdy,

I installed the latest nvidia drivers yesterday onto a Fedora Core 1 system (all updates applied via apt-get).

It installed fine, nvidia module is loaded, I'm using nvidia in XF86Config. I see the nvidia logo on startup.

3D acceleration is bjorked. I'm getting 3.600FPS in glxgears! What's the deal?

Help's appreciated.

Remove Mesa libGL, reinstall the driver, use the GCC 3.2 compiler.
