Messed up graphic display with 5336-drivers
Hi,
the new driver causes my display to use wrong colors. AA-Fonts have funny green/red/blue pixels, images are shown as if their palette is slightly skewed. System: Kernel 2.6.1 Mandrake 9.1 Geforce 2 MX 400 KDE 3.1.4 Current XF86-Config-4 settings: Section "Device" Identifier "device1" VendorName "nVidia Corporation" BoardName "NVIDIA GeForce2 DDR (generic)" Driver "nvidia" Option "DPMS" Option "NvAGP" "1" Option "NoLogo" "1" Option "IgnoreDisplayDevices" "TV" EndSection --- cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status Status: Disabled /proc/driver/nvidia/version NVRM version: NVIDIA Linux x86 NVIDIA Kernel Module 1.0-5336 Wed Jan 14 18:29:26 PST 2004 GCC version: gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk) |
Recompiled kernel without boot-logo.
Had to reinstall driver (was no longer found). Bootup with vga=0 Colors are right again. Strange... |
