Finally colors with TV-Out/s-video! Solution!

Hi!

I've just recently bought an GF4MX440. And as many of you here I've tried to tweak the XF86Config-4 to my satisfaction. I was very sad when all I got was a black & white picture on my TV. I really thought my TV did have s-video in the scart. Well... solution....

I use an s-video cable from my GF4MX440 to the the TV. The s-video is connected to a scart on my Philips 28PT4473. Therefore I used the line

Option "TVOutFormat" "S-VIDEO"

in my XF86Config-4. But as I said before this wasn't working. By mistake I changed it to

Option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"

and run startx. VOILA!! COLORS!! And I _DO NOT_ have a composite cable from my GF4MX440. So this is my working device section of my XF86Config-4.

PS. I'm using driver 1.0-5336

Section "Device"
Identifier "NVIDIA Corporation NV18 [GeForce4 MX 440 AGP 8x]"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "TwinView"
Option "TVStandard" "PAL-B"
Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30-50"
Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "50-60"
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT, TV"
Option "TwinViewOrientation" "clone"
Option "TvOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"
Option "MetaModes" "1152x864@1152x864,1024x768@1024x768"
EndSection

I've discovered that the same goes for Windows, so it's not a driver bug. The card is a ASUS V9180 SE/T. Maybe it's a problem with this specific card?
