error installing 5336 on suse 9.0

I have an Geforce 2 100/200MX videocard and i want to install the new nividia driver but i failed.
The installer coundn't find a precompiled kernel interface (on my machine and on the nvidia side).
Then I got this error: "ERROR: Umable to determine the NVIDIA kernel module filename" and the install failed.

I have installed the kernel source and running suse 9.0 completly updated.
Can anyone help me!!!

this means that the installer will need to compile a kernel interface for

this is an easy one :)

extract the driver using --extract-only

go into the directory NVIDIA....pkg1/usr/src/nv

now depending on your kernel version do either

for a 2.6 kernel
copy Makefile.kbuild to makefile

for a 2.4 kernel
copy Makefile.nvidia to makefile

now go back to the main directory NVIDIA...pkg1
and do a make install

should work just fine
