nforce2 w/ 1900+

How much of a performance boost would i see with an Nforce2 board over my current one- A7V266 :( ??? Because if it's a huge difference then ill probably be looking to hook that up then.

hmm considering nforce2 has some room to improve..and if you stick with the same processor, it wouldn't be as hugh of an improvement from switching to the nforce2, than upgrading your processor, memory, videocard, etc. your looking at less than a 1000 pt difference in 3dmark if you were to upgrade to an nforce2.

Would I actually notice a difference in games? aka UT2k3? Because im wanting to upgrade my GF3ti500 to the 4600 or even the 9700Pro.

if your just getting an nforce2 which won't even be out for who knows, it'll be like at most 10fps i'm going to assume, thats a little high estimate. you'll notice the more major difference with a videocard upgrade.

AFAIK there have been no benchmark results of nforce2 with a CPU using a 266FSB. it can probably be safely assumed that it will run faster than any current motherboard though. just don't expect any miracles ;)
