I know, just uncheck all the "security" options and any spyware goes away. :)

Koala Player is the best for divx / avi.
I don't like Divx player at all.

For pr0n; Sasami2k
For movies; Zoom Player

I think other players have strengths and weakness's and doubt there is a definitive player. I have about 6 players installed for different purposes. It's not like they take up a lot of space ;) Some are better for correcting aspect ratios, multiple audio tracks, subtitles, etc. Zoom player is just highly configurable, and supports spdif output. Sasami's biggest weakness is the lack of spdif output.

Did you cut open the software to make sure it's gone 100%?
There are billions of ways to have spyware enabled even by unchecking the "security" options.

I like Power DVD, or Win DVD, you can get them easily on any P2P app worth it's salt. And don't give me the "blah piracy" crap, Cause you know as well as I do, he wants a good player so he can play the Downloaded (copyrighted) movies he got a few days ago!

Regards,
Mike

....

I've been trying the latest Zoomplayer and it's pretty cool. Thanks very much for your help peoples :) .

As for movies - I've got a dvd player and I buy the movies I like on DVD and like having an authentic product where I get decent picture quality and 5.1 surround sound, so why would I want a poor quality pirate
