How do I adjust brightness/contrast & saturation?
I have an LCD connected to the gfx card's DVI port. The problem being is that the display is far too bright and I can find no way to lower the brightness and contrast like I can do using Display Properties under Windows. When using DVI out, the LCD allows me to adjust only the brightness. It's currently set to zero and the problem persists. So, how is it done in Linux? I found a utility called xgamma, but it tends to have very little effect on colours that approach white.
