Simple question.

Is it possible to overclock a NVidia graphics card in Linux? I.e. can you pass commands to the graphics driver in some way to increase the core speed of the GPU and memory?

Re: Overclocking
For overclocking you need to use NVClock: http://www.linuxhardware.org/nvclock

Note that it doesn't work fine on GeforceFX cards yet as those have different clock speeds in 2d and 3d apps, if you really want to overclock those you need nvclock from cvs.

Also note that bad things can and often do happen when you run your card out of spec.
