Overclocking 6800 GT

Quick question: How can I overclock the 6800 GT under Linux? I snagged a copy of nvclock 0.7 but the 6800GT is too new and isn't supported. I saw someone with a screen shot of version 0.8 of nvclock with 6800 support, but I cannot for the life of me locate that file. Any suggestions?

Thanks.
:)

Re: Overclocking 6800 GT

The cvs version of Nvclock contains some basic nv40 support (mainly clock detection). Overclocking support will take some extra time as I need some debug info from windows to test my overclocking code. Further even GeforceFX support isn't done yet because of different 2d/3d clocks (and voltages/fanspeeds) but a workaround is in the make for that.

Expect some code the coming weeks as I will be on vacation next week.

I tried CVS nvclock with GF 6800, it shows the frequencies perfectly, but any attempt at changing them fails - they stay the same.

I hope to add 6800 overclocking soon but several things have changed inside the hardware and without direct hardware access it is difficult to figure out the meaning of the differences.
