Original Half-Life Source?

Is HL2 going to be able to run the original HL in Source mode, or are they going to do a re-release of HL1 in Source, or are they just going to make us keep our terrible graphics in HL1?

I've heard rumors that HL1 source is supposed to be part of the HL2 collector's edition package, which I'm going to pre-order tomorrow.

I'd replay Half-Life in Source mode before HL2 if they gave it to us...God, that room with the marines and all those crates would ROCK with Source.

Sadly it would look just like CS:S, I'd still play it though. The opening sequence to the Black Mesa Facility :drooling:

I'm going to ask my girlfriend to preorder it for me for our six month anniversary. :)

Re: Original Half-Life Source?

If i'd done that it would have been last year. Then again, for the 1 year anniversary would have been last month... Back on topic, So many Half Life fans would be celebrating if HL1 was released in source. So much fun replaying the 1st game, then going onto the second so there is basically no split between the two.
