WoW Screenshots - 56k warning
 

I "stumbled" across these screenshots of what "appears" to be from the WoW stress test. It looks like they were taken at 1600x1200 and there is a bit of IQ loss from the JPG compression:

bleh... i dont like cartoon graphics at all... I just dont like how it looks.

Now when wer getting used to hot gfx this dosent cut it.
It seems it's like the D2 case, When a game dont requer too much of your computer more ppl can play the game.

<unpopular opinion>Those screenshots should look cool to me, but all they seem to do is remind me of how much I hate the Warcraft series..</unpopular opinion>

You have to play the game to appreciate the graphics as the screenshots don't do it any justice.

I tried like hell to like it being that so many seem to like it but I just couldnt, same with the graphics.

This game isn't unlike many others - either you love it or hate it. Some people swear by RTS titles but I can't stand them no matter how good they may actually be.

I started this thread because some people were interested in screenshots that weren't published from Blizzard. Imagehost is great because it is free but since these files were originally over a couple MBs in size they took a pretty big hit in IQ when they got compressed.

I think those screenies look quite cool. I don't know much about this game as I haven't really been expecting much but I thought it was an MMORPG set in the WarCraft world not an RTS game!

Could someone who's played explain what the gameplay is like? i.e. What sort of game its most similar too... features... etc etc.

Cheers. Might try it out if its just an MMORPG. Wasn't a fan of WarCraft III at all, the single player was just drawn out and too repetitive (my opinion - don't flame).

Thanks for the screens....the style doesnt bother me-looks alot like WC3, which is what I was figuring it would end up looking like. ( Just bigger textures)

Agreed. That's one of the things I hated so much about WC3. Actually, it's the ONLY thing I hated about WC3...
