Shadow Ops: Red Mercury demo

Quote:

You are Frank Hayden, an elite military operative chasing a weapon of unspeakable destruction. From chaotic Syrian streets to the hellish jungles of the Congo, amid action and tension to rival any blockbuster Hollywood thriller, you must track down and disarm a device known only as Red Mercury.

The game is action/3D (FPS) , heres some screenshots :

Huge download but it didn't take too long. I just took a quick peek. The starting mission seems kind of like a scene from the Black Hawk Down movie. I wasn't playing with sound so I didn't really know what was going on so that's just from watching it. Just tried it quickly to make sure the install worked. :)

Some of those shots actually look really good... looks like another game that opted for good artist work rather than flashy effects. I might try it out.

Anyone know how it is yet?

Its based off the UnrealUT2k4 engine so dont expect any in PS2+

Its not bad. Not as good as some of the other games out there or coming soon. The AI is too scripted to get any ideas if its good or not...

I've tried it too... I can't believe it uses the UT200x engine. The graphics are really poor, almost if they had been done with the Unreal 1 engine :retard:
