Postfix and VPOP
 
Hi everyone,


I using MTA postfix runing on Red hat 8. My boss ask me to setup vpop server.

I have no idea what is vpop and how to setup vpop. Can somebody help me please.

My postfix and virtual domain runing fine.

Please help thanks in advance.

vpop (mail delivery agent) is for allowing outlook experss and all that to access mail via pop3, while the postfix (mail transfer agent) is used to transfer mail across domains. you need to setup vpop for authentication for accessing the mail from the mail server (i may be wrong)
