New CS Source benches (6600GT VS x700Pro an XT)

Seems the 6600GT smacks around the X700 cards at the highest resolutions with AA/AF enabled.

I would post this at Rage, but don't feel up to the abuse I would probably take :)

Post it over there, I love seeing them make excuses.

The 6600gt seems to take none or verry little hit on performance when enabeling AF ;)

Wow thats really impressive :)

6600GT is going to be the best deal of the year I think. Especially if it stays around $200 (or lower) for the AGP version.

That is really a sweet card. Looks to beat the 6800gt in price/perf ratio this yr.

I don't think it will. Remember the bridge chip is not free, im sure it will add to the cost. My guess is that the AGP version will be ~$220 with the PCIe version staying at $200.

Wouldn't the AGP version be cheaper because isn't it the new technology of pci-e that is causing a price premium if anything?

If you remember FS last CS bench marks both the GT and Ultra 6800 lost very little going from noAA/noAF to x4AA/x16AF at 1600x1200 thus its not a trait of the 6600 cards more so of all the NV40 cards...
