Troubles installing the driver
I have an x86 machine.
running Debian 3.0(updated) 2.6.xx kernel the kernel was defaulted to /lib/modules/2.6.xx/ instead of /usr/src/ Anyways. I atempted to install, and it complained of no kernel. so I added --kernel-source-path /lib and it would say invalid directory. If i tried adding "/lib/modules" it would show this: "Cannot find "/lib/modules/modules/2.6.xx/kernel.o" the kernel.o file is in "/lib/modules/2.6.xx/" but I am having troubles getting it to direct to that point. Any suggestions? I can recompile my kernel, so if I need to just need to recompile it in the /usr/src directory I will but I would like to avoid doing this if possible. Thanks in advance. |
