Dual monitors with 2 cards
I have been running my Linux box for a while with my rolled down
geforce 3 ti200 and recently bought a LCD for my gaming machine. I thought I'd roll down my CRT to my Linux box and bought myself a second, pci card, a sfmx4000. I assumed, maybe foolishly, it would not be difficult to configure running two or more monitors but I've gotten feedback from coworkers that, although it is possible with Xinerama, I'll lose the hardware excelleration on both cards. Can I get some help? |
Re: Dual monitors with 2 cards
well sorry, to say, but post your question here again:
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=14 BTW... there's something about this in nvidia's readme... (appendix R, I think, but I don't know if it's only for one/two cards) ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Li...629/README.txt |
