1.0-7167: Power Management & Performance.

Power Management is broken entirely as far as I can see...rebooting doesn't fix my idle temps @ 70C opposed to working Power Management in 1.0-6629 idling at 55C..

Performance is NOT better for me.. I actually LOST FPS in Doom 3.. i went from 80FPS (Doom 3 1024x768 HQ) to 76-77...all other games are seeing this loss aswell..

I myself am reverting back to 1.0-6629 til NVIDIA gets their act together...

BTW, we're all using "NvAGP" "1"

Actually, I weren't. I was using "NvAGP" "2", but erek asked me too late, I guess. :)

Zander's AGPGART performance-fix was the solution for me.

I haven't been able to confirm that the lock-ups are gone, but if that is the case, I think 3 fps in doom3 is more than a worthy sacrifice.

are you saying this because suspend/resume isn't working, or because your gpu temperatures are too high?
