fuzzy image

I have a Quadro fx 1100 running on a dual AMD workstation with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and just updated the driver from 1.0-6111 to 1.0-7174. Since I got this system a year ago I've had what I perceive as slightly fuzzy image quality and would like to get to the bottom of it. The problem is not the monitor (a diamondtron 22"). There may be clues in the nviidia-installer log (attached). In particular when I updated it said that my kernel was not identified... I'm not terribly experienced at this, could someone take a look at this log file and see if anything looks like it's not optimal?

Here's my kernel info (uname -a):
Linux 2.4.21-9.0.3.ELsmp #1 SMP Tue Apr 20 19:44:23 EDT 2004 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux

Re: fuzzy image
Things to try: different screen resolutions, the open source "nv"/"vesa" drivers, different horizontal sync, vertical refresh settings (don't go past monitor maximums).

Re: fuzzy image
Thanks, but those things have all been tried. Anyone take a look at my nvidia-installer log?
