Front Page News Item?: Half-Life 2 - non-official DirectX9 patch
 

There is an unofficial Half-Life2 patch out that properly enables DX9 mode for GF-FX amongst lots of other things.

I reckon it would be a good front-page story too.

The patch also enables ATi HDR mode, so you could mention that to ensure that pissed off fanATIcs can't complain about coverage of the patch...
