Can you check to see if the fan is still spinning?

Is that celcius or farenheit?

90F is very good. 90C is very bad

he prob means C as reported so in the cp. once you check to see if the fan is working take the card out and makesure the heatsink is making good contact with the gpu and hasn't somehow come lose.

you probablyhave a lot of heat buildup in your case. Before I installed a watercooler, my case used to build up heat like mad. After playing a game my inside temps were like 80C on idle.

It may be the drivers. I just upgraded from 71.84 to 77.79 (I have MCE)... and my temps went up 20 degree C instantly. These are WQHL certified Nvidia drivers... and I haven't been fudging around with betas... so I'm bummed. My idle temp is about 72C and my load temp with UT99 is 91C. Ouch. Never used to even hit 70C with the last driver. Amazing huh? My 3d03 number didn't really change with the new driver... in fact, it went down a little to 12,356 from 12,441. I'm at a loss. Do I rollback? DOH!

Every driver I have ever tried has reported a different temperature on my 6800GT OC, even though the temps reported by SpeedFan never varied by more than a couple of degrees. I would suggest installing SpeedFan, and not trusting what the drivers say :D

Went up?? The 71.84 have a known issue where they report temperatures 20% over what they were, 77.79 should have fixed it.

Did you check any of what has been suggested here (monitoring temps with Speedfan, making sure the fan is working properly, etc)?
