Sure it looks pretty. But then you realize you're paying to mine asteroids for 5 hours a night. Then you get jumped by pirates and have to start over.
Check out X3:Reunion. Graphics are just as good and it's not as boring.

You actually have no clue about this game then. I never mined a single asteroid and i got ****loads of ingame-money.
This game needs some imagination on the player's side. those who think they get everything served ona plate end up mining asteroids. :D

Wow, that has to be one of the best game trailers I've ever seen. It's just so well constructed...it's almost as much a music video as it is a trailer.

Well it certainly did it's job, I think I'll check out the game now. I used to play Earth and Beyond back in the day, and it was pretty fun until EA shut it down. I never played EVE Online because I really didn't feel like getting into anymore MMORPGs, but now I found a Free Trial for the game, so I might as well give it a look. The game looks kinda complicated though...hope I can get the hang of it before the trial ends.

I'd download the game and played the tutorial. Geez there are so many commands that I have to remember and wow that is one long tutorial, I listed the commands and uses of some items on MSWord. The community are very friendly and even generous somebody game me a fair amount of ISK. Said that's for me to use in buying some skills for me to learn.
