Have you applied all of the patches from here:
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=61052 If so, then please provide a bug report with reproduction steps. Thanks, Lonni |

Re: bug in nvidia kernel module (pageattr.c:156)
Is this AGP patch for all kernels? We're using 2.4 (RedHat 3.0)
|
Re: bug in nvidia kernel module (pageattr.c:156)
Yes, the problem isn't specific to a certain Linux kernel version, nor is it specific to AGPGART or NvAGP.

Just to confirm.....
I'd start doom3, quit, and upon launching a second instance, my computer would freeze...here's some relevant info: Code:
$ emerge infoCode:
----------- [cut here ] --------- [please bite here ] ---------So I applied the patch NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-8174-1432714.diff.txt and reinstalled the driver...all is well so far. I haven't been able to reproduce the crash. |
