font size too small with 8174

Hello!
I just installed 8174 on my computer like I did it before with 7676, the previous release.
My card is a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440.
With using SuSE10.0, I started sax2 like I did some time ago, when I installed the previous driver.
But the I was shocked! All the text was pretty small (around 2-3pt)! The resolution given by the appropriate log file is 1280x1024, just like I had before.

What should I do now? Does anyone have the same problem?

Thanks in advance!

Most likely DPI is set incorrectly. The method the driver uses to compuete DPI changed (and may be buggy). See the thread on DPI, http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=61189, and 1.8174. Try setting Option "UseEdidDPI"="false". This should allow the DPI to compute properly. Good Luck! Report back.
