Bios configuration :

I've actually in my bios the following information

Option "NvAGP" "3"

Option "CursorShadow" "true"
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "true"
- EndSection

modprobe.conf :
options nvidia NVreg_EnableAGPSBA=1 NVreg_EnableAGPFW=1 NVreg_ReqAGPRate=8

My hardware configuration is :
Processor type : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz

Memory : 1771 Mo
Video card : GeForce 6600 GT/AGP/SSE2
Memory : 128

The best tweak is different values of this in xorg.conf

Option "NvAGP" "3"

The nvidia readme has info about this. Try different settings and do benchmarks. Each pc setup is different so you have to try things yourself.
