Problems with Geforce Ti 4200 under Slackware

Hello

I have several problems with my Geforce Ti 4200 under Slackware 10.2.
OpenGL based games and also X crash very often, this makes the whole computer going down (is no longer accessable at all).
See this screenshot: (Done with a Digicam after starting up Rune):

I already have tested out different versions of NVidia drivers but i get the same result with all. I also tried this before starting up a Game :

export GL_FSAA_MODE=0
export GL_DEFAULT_LOG_ANISO=0
export GL_SINGLE_THREADED=1

But nothing helps out. Doesn anybody have an idea what i could do, expect testing another Card?

Thanks,
tyr
