6800 gs or 6800gt???
hey whats up im looking into upgrading from my 6600gt and i wasnt too sure whether i should get the 6800gs or the 6800gt ive heard the gs is a extremely great overclocker but then has only 12 pipes or would i just be better off putting my 6600gt on sli can anybody help me???

If you need to upgrade now the best option would be something from the 7800 line if you can afford it. Prices may be coming down a bit when the 7900 is released soon. 6600gt isn't that bad of a card depending on what you are playing.

well i mostly play first person shooters i.e. fear,farcry and quake so id quess i need as much power as i can get

I'd get the 7800gt as a minimum then.

The 6800gs is a better card than the 6800gt (both pci-e). The clock speeds and other improvements more than make up for the difference in pipes.
