Framelock when two graphics cards in the same box

I have two machines that can hold two graphics cards (Quadra FX4500) in each box. I would like to connect four displays on the 4 gfx cards in the two boxes. So my questions are:

(1) How many nVidia G-sync cards do I need for each box: one ot two?

(2) Any documents available for configing this kind of setup on Linux.

Thanks in advance.

This is a good question! nVidia?

One Gsync card supports two videocards.

The NVIDIA driver README documents how to setup Framelock:

So, one G-Sync card using both the primary and secondary connectors - correct? It does not explicitly say anything about the secondary connector on the G-Sync card. I do not want to zap anything!

The videocard which will be the 'server' in your framelock group should be cabled to the primary connector of the gsync card. The 2nd card gets cabled to the secondary connector of the gsync card.

Thanks,

Very cool! Since I do not have room for a second G-Sync card anyway. Now all I need is the sync issue fixed and happiness will return to my life.
