SuSE 10.1 XGL freeze

Hi all

Some 6200 issues on SuSE 10.1

1) First, the Gnome Desktop config window tells me 3D acceleration is not supported by this card? Can anyone verify? the card is also recognised as Nvidia unknown

2) Mboard : MSI RS482M4-IL
3) GeForce 6200LE-TD 128E

About 10 seconds after i start X using XGL, complete freeze requiring hard restart.

I cannot find an option on by BIOS to set the AGP from 4x to 2x.

I have installed the driver from the Nvidia site, although it did state that it is for 6300 and up? Is there no Linux x86_64 driver for 6200?

Many thanks

LP

Still no answers to this one? Has anyone gotten the 6200-based cards to work with Xgl?

MoBo and card are PCIe devices. There is no AGP setting of course.
