Linux NCQ support on NForce 430??

Hello,

Is there Linux Native Command Queuing (NCQ) support on NForce 430?

If not, is there a link that provides the status of it?

I just bought a NForce 430 board because I heard that Nvidia has the best Linux support. Is that true?

Thanks
Cristobal

Serial ATA (SATA) Linux status report
NVIDIA nForce

As of May 16, 2006

Quote:

NVIDIA
Summary: No TCQ/NCQ. Looks like a PATA controller, but with full SATA control including hotplug and PM.

Update: NVIDIA has provided information (under NDA) that permits implementation of NCQ support.

libata driver status: Beta.
