Geforce 7900GTX 512mb Linux Support?

Is there support for SLI with this card using the newest Linux Drivers?

I have two
eVGA 7900GTX 512mb Superclocked cards and an ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard.

I would very much like to try Ubuntu on my new PC but i'm not willing to go through with it if there isn't any support for my GFX cards yet.

Yeah it states my hardware and device ID
GeForce 7900 GTX 0x0290

but will SLI be supported or will it not matter for XGL Compiz?

Well, SLI is supported since the 8xxx series drivers came out, so I would assume that any SLI capable cards would work, including yours.
